Just a reminder that today is the last day to leave a comment to win a free book! (Check out Monday’s post if you missed it) Tell me what goals you want to accomplish this year, or give me tips you’ve learned on how to get better at reaching goals!
I’ll be back on Monday to share the winner. Have a great weekend!
Hi Kendra! I have about a bajillion things I need/want to accomplish this year, but I try to narrow it down to a few top priorities. I read somewhere that choosing a few things to focus on makes it less overwhelming, making it easier to accomplish your goals. I though that was great advice! My goals this year are (1) to read 50 books, (2) finish my outdoor house projects, (3) hit my savings account goal and pay off a small loan, (4) and make time for self care and healthy choices.
50 books, that’s awesome! I would love to know which ones are on your list! Or do you just choose as you go along?
Thanks! I’m partaking in #theunreadshelfproject2018, so I’m reading my home TBR pile, including the Divergent series (which I’m reading now), a few classics, and about 20 fiction novels! I’m hoping to meet my goal with a book a week. ☺️
I’ve found It difficult to set long term goals, as I have a blended family and big sons (24,22,15,15years) and had a health issue that causes me to get very tired. So I always have a small notebook and write everything down that I have to get done. I’m naturally a motivated person and I love lists so I can cross them off. I also spend time praying each morning to set the tone for the day and pray for the things I would like to happen in our family, and in the future. I find this keeps things manageable for me, as things are never predictable.
I also love crossing things off my list! So much so that sometimes i add things I get done that aren’t on the list, just so I can still cross it off! 🙂
I do that too! A great sense of satisfaction! 🙂
Some of my goals are 1) bullet journaling.
2) Read at least 12 books. 3) get up earlier
4) Exercise min 3 times a week
4) Be more intentional with praying
I love your goals! Reading at least a book a month is one of my goals this year too! We should compare notes – I want to know what books you end up reading! 🙂
