Today I’m feeling thankful for all of you. I’m thankful that you come by here to read about our little family, and about the thoughts I have as I try to figure life out.
I love blogging. Maybe a little too much. I find it hard to set boundaries for it in my life. I never set out to post something five days a week. I just always felt like sharing something every day. I had to very deliberately take weekends off.
But here’s the deal. We’re headed into a busy season around here. Ben is going on a 10-day missions trip with the Pursuit students next week, and then after Christmas, he’s gone for another three weeks on a second missions trip.
I’ve been thinking and praying a lot about how I’m going to handle those stretches of single parenting in the best way possible.
I know that the internet eats up a big amount of my time, so starting this week, I’m going to cut down on the number of times I post per week. I’ll be sharing something with you every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, instead of every day, and we’ll see how that goes. (I’ve been reading the article How I Learned to Stop Blogging Every Day, and am feeling inspired!)
In case you feel like it’s a pain to remember a “Monday-Wednesday-Friday” schedule in your life and you don’t want to miss a post (’cause I’m so sure you sit on the edge of your seat, eagerly waiting for each and every post, and all that…) you can click here, or scroll down to the bottom of this screen, and subscribe to this blog so that you get an email every time there’s something new going on over here.
Now I’m off to enjoy as much life as possible with my sweet girls (and my sweet husband, whenever he’s around)!
I will see you on Wednesday with Part 2 of the Insecurity series…
